The aims of this objective are:


  • To inform all employees on their roles and responsibilities on making enquiries and requesting for purchases.

  • To highlight to vendors the correct practises and right approach on conducting businesses in Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
    		•

  • To ensure purchasing staffs follow the company's rules and regulations as in the purchasing manual and to perform their job observing ethical standards.

    		•



    The Purchasing Department of Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (RSM) practices the same policy as in Renesas Ltd, Japan by following their guiding principles on activities and procedures in the Material department.

    The purchasing Section is the sole authority for all Procurement functions and the purchasing members are the authorised buyers to act on behalf of RSM for any purchases. All employees are to follow the rules and regulations set forth in the Purchasing Manual.
